Across the world, in rural villages of India, countless girls face barriers that American students can scarcely imagine: no schools within walking distance, families too poor to afford books, cultural beliefs that say girls’ education doesn’t matter, and a complete absence of mentors who look like them and succeeded. At Lemonade with Ice, we believe that every girl—whether she lives in Houston, Texas or a remote village in India—deserves the chance to learn, grow, and dream.
