Houston teen founds non-profit to help young girls in Houston and beyond achieve educational dreams

KPRC Channel 2 recently featured a special segment on the upcoming Lemonade with Ice Gala, which is set to take place on October 20th, 2024. The founder of Lemonade with Ice, Ice Venkatesh, was invited to discuss the organization’s mission to empower young girls and the specific goals of the upcoming gala. During her interview, she emphasized the importance of supporting girls’ education globally and the significant impact the event will have in raising awareness and funds for this cause.

Ice also took the opportunity to speak about The Village School, where she is currently pursuing the Entrepreneurship diploma. She highlighted how the program is equipping her with essential skills and tools to effectively manage and grow her nonprofit organization. She expressed gratitude for the knowledge and support provided by her educators, which has played a pivotal role in her journey as a young entrepreneur and leader.

With the upcoming gala, Lemonade with Ice continues to expand its reach and impact, bringing together community members, partners, and supporters to champion the cause of empowering young girls.

We extend our sincere gratitude to The Village School, Miss Elliston, and KPRC Channel 2 for their support in amplifying Ice’s message and bringing attention to the upcoming Gala. This event promises to be a significant occasion, fostering community engagement and support for the initiatives that Lemonade with Ice champions.
The collaboration between educators, students, and media outlets exemplifies the power of community in driving positive change. We are eager to see the impact that this increased visibility will have on the mission and the success of the Gala. Thank you to everyone involved for their commitment to raising awareness and supporting such a meaningful cause.
